We just returned from a week long trip to Morroco beginning with a stay at the Riad Moucharabieh. The best part about this Riad is the personal service. We arrived mid day from the airport in Morroco and had rented a car (really bad idea, but we were driving to Agadir in a few days). I called the Riad and Nora helped us figure out how to park as close as possible to the Riad. We had troubles negotiating the price for parking and in the end, it was Nora who negotiated down to a reasonable, tourist price for two days of parking. Majid met us at our car to bring us in through the chaotic Medina to the Oasis of the Riad. The building itself is lovely, with two internal courtyards (one in each of the buildings). We were greeted with mint tea, nuts and dried apricots. Our whole stay at the Riad was like this - attentive, helpful service from Nora, Majid and Didier (the owner). One night we stayed in for dinner at the Riad and the Chicken Tajine was some of the best we had in Morroco. Another night we went out on New Year's Eve and Nora and Majid helped arrange a driver for us that made all of the difference. Breakfasts were phenomenal, different Morrocan breads, jam and eggs on request. In terms of the rooms, they are cozy and homey, not 'fancy and done.' They have fireplaces (which Majid helped us with one night) and open bathrooms with great water pressure and traditional Morrocan tiles. Don't expect modern, the decor is meant to be traditional. Our original booking got screwed up by hotelquicly and the owner personally worked overtime to rectify the situation. This is a great pick - I highly recommend.

My friend and I have been staying for a seven days journey during the winter. Madjid, the maitre d'hotel and the rest of the riad's staff treated us so well that we felt like we were prince of an moroccan old tale. For example, a warming fireplace was waiting our return in our room every single night. Roses petals were carefully placed all over the room... Dived into this incredible set, from this dreamland you can only leave with a head full of lifelong memories. We did.

Stayed for a few nights at Riad Moucharabieh while in Marrakech and absolutely loved it. The architecture is incredible and the decor eclectic, with something interesting around every corner. Mjid and Noura were the perfect hosts, with great English. Breakfast on the rooftop was a real highlight every morning. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting Marrakech.

My husband and I stayed at the riad in July 2016 and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly helpful in advance of our trip - they were very responsive by email and helped us book bus tickets for later legs of our trip. The riad is beautiful, very clean, and they offer an amazing breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The location was great for us - it was an easy (15 minutes) Djema el Fna and we felt safe walking home at night. We highly recommend the riad to travelers.

My family and I really enjoyed our time here. The rooftop terrace was very nice, and the public areas of the riad were both attractive and interesting. For example, there was a 'study' decorated with posters from the 1920-1930 era, a fireplace, and a small bar, all by the pool.

We spent one night here in May 2016, and were very happy. The Riad has an aura of mystery about it, both because of its location and because of its layout. It is a quiet and serene place. The decor is genuine Moroccan, with interesting colors, carpets, wallhangings, and works of iron, wood and tile. The pool is surrounded by two story palm trees and other plants. Our room was very spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. We arrived late in the evening, part of a group of 14. The staff went out of their way to meet our needs and serve a dinner that suited all of us. The food was excellent. There is no elevator, and it appeared that there are no rooms on the bottom floor, which could pose a problem for persons with mobility problems. Personally, I would come back to this Riad in a heart beat!
